- Please try to make posts as readable as possible. This means spell checking as best you can and no chat speak. This isn't school or work level demanding of professionalism, but the easier what you write is to read, the easier it is for everyone involved.
- No god mode/power play. Each person is in charge of their own character(s) for a reason, and they should be written knowing only what they know and having no more influence over others than they would in real life.
- If an idea of yours involves another character, try to double check with that writer first; their plans may be different. Lack of communication is the one thing that always seems to cause conflicts in fiction, and for this RP, it's no different. That's what the PM button and General Board are for.
- We're all just trying to have fun here. Try to keep things as polite and enjoyable as possible. We're all friends here, so treat each other like it.
- Only Adminstrators are allowed to do things like changing your board to the Otherworld and giving random event items. Don't try to take their role away from them.
- A loud air raid siren announces the change to Otherworld.
- Your character can, and will, get hurt. They can also die, but this is unlikely unless you take unusually stupid risks. Like standing in front of an oncoming subway train.
- It is up to you to keep track of your character's held items. If it's not on their profile or listed somewhere (signature, in your post, anywhere), they don't have it. It's not up to the administrator to keep track of your items (though there will be validation as to the fact that you have earned whatever it was your character has picked up, especially if it's an event item).
- Your character may only hold what they can carry. They would not honestly be able to carry around six chainsaws and a fire axe. Bags and satchels may be found through random event.
- Do not use {} in your post title. These are used to separate Administrator posts.
- The more people you travel with, the more likely you are to be noticed by monsters and thus attacked (and in swarms).
- Your profile must be completed and approved before you post in a role play.
Monsters
- Only the Monsters account can play a monster, including your "personal monsters." If you need one for a specific plot, PM the Administrator. This way, you have no knowledge of when your monster will or will not show up.
- Monster fights are done in a somewhat turn-by-turn basis. You can do several attacks in one post depending on your weapon, but you cannot say whether they actually land. If you have a gun, you can fire off several shots, for example.
- Your personal monster does not attack anyone but your character.
- You cannot kill your personal monster. You can wound it, but it will come back fully restored during the next encounter.
